Campus.UBMG - University of Bina Mandiri (UBM) Gorontalo student Putri Sangid won 1st place in the Diploma Field in the 2023 Student Achievement Selection (Pilmpares) in Manado, North Sulawesi.

Putri Sangid, a student of the UBM Gorontalo Health Analyst Study Program, also won the Favorite Champion in the same event, Pilmpares 2023 which was held by LLDIKTI Region XVI.

Putri Sangid's success and achievements in Pilmapres 2023 are proof of the quality of students at UBM Gorontalo.

The Head of CCLC UBM Gorontalo, Ayu Anastasya Rachman S. IP, MA said, besides Putri Sangid, UBM Gorontalo also sent its representative on behalf of Nur Fauzia from the Hospital Administration Study Program, Faculty of Science, Technology and Health Sciences.

"Nur Fauzia was also able to enter the finalists of outstanding students," Ayu said, Friday, May 12, 2023.

The achievements of the two students, said Ayu, made the supervisor proud of the effort and commitment made. Preparations made since a month ago through a small team formed, are now producing maximum results.

"Assistance has been carried out since a month ago both in the preparation of research manuscripts to ensure students can solve the obstacles experienced while compiling their creative ideas or innovative products," Ayu said.

In fact, she said, the supervisory team also conducted a question and answer simulation to prepare students for the final.

"We make sure this preparation is slick, so that they can maximize the presentation, appear very well, the quality of research is very good, the quality of English is very good, this is the beginning of the national selection for Putri Sangid," Ayu said again.

In the future, Ayu said, UBM Gorontalo is ready to send qualified delegates so that both regionally and nationally, there will be representatives from Private Universities (PTS).

"Hopefully this will also be a motivation for other PTS in spurring student activities," said Ayu.

Putri Sangid and Nur Fauzia, according to Ayu, can be an inspiration for other students who will be involved in the student selection process later.

"They can share their experiences with other UBM Gorontalo students so that this campus can produce more achievers," Ayu said.
