The Head of Food Agency of Gorontalo Province is Doing Chili Harvests with Vice Rector of UBM Gorontalo

Campus.UBMG - Head of the Food Agency of Gorontalo Province, H. Sutrisno M.Si together with the Vice Rector of University of Bina Mandiri  (UBM) Gorontalo and leadership elements harvested chili, Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

Previously, this chili was planted by the Governor of Gorontalo, Hamka Hendra Noer together with the Rector of UBM, in commemoration of the 42nd World Food Day in November 2022 yesterday.

This action also shows the existence of the campus with the jargon Pioneer of Independence to help the government in maintaining food security even though it does not have a Faculty of Agriculture.

"And of course inviting students to take part in maintaining food existence. As the Governor hopes, if we plant more and more specifically to maintain the existence of food, especially chili, this will also help reduce the inflation rate," said William Indra S. Mooduto SE, M.SA, Ak. CA.

Because according to William, students have an important role in maintaining food security, with various ideas and creative ideas to provide solutions.
