Head of UBM Gorontalo Analyst Program Participates in Osce TLM Training in Bandung City

Campus.UBMG - Head of the Health Analyst Study Program (Kaprodi), University of Bina Mandiri (UBM) Gorontalo, Yolan H. Dunggio, S.Pd, M.Pd, participated in the Objective Structure Clinical Examination (OSCE) for Medical Laboratory Manpower (TLM) following the Osce Training in 2023, Wednesday-Saturday May 10 to May 13, 2023.

The activity, which was held at Harris Hotel & Convention Bandung, was attended by the Chairperson of the Indonesian Medical Laboratory Technology Higher Education Institution Association, Dr. Budi Santosa, SKM, M.Si.Med.

Yolan Dunggio when contacted explained, there were several important points discussed at the meeting.

Among them, TLM OSCE activities were agreed upon in accordance with what was the common hope, TLM graduates from all organizers of the Health Analyst Study Program / Medical Laboratory Technology Study Program in Indonesia must be truly competent.

"Graduates can prove their ability through UKOM and OSCE assessments carried out with standardized methods and OSCE is one of the instruments to produce the best graduates," he said.

Meanwhile, Yolan Dunggio also revealed, OSCE training activities were attended by 61 participants from 46 institutions and Regional 3 to 7. One of them is UBM Gorontalo.

The hope is that what is obtained during OSCE training can be implemented into each institution.

"It is hoped that the participants will produce standardized questions in accordance with OSCE guidelines, besides the participants are expected to be ready to become examiners or reviewers of standardized OSCE questions," he added.

Finally, the indicators of UKOM and OSCE are quality students who graduate, and are reflected in the capacity of lecturers and university institutions and associations that are responsible for creating the best graduates.
