In Supporting Student Interests and Talents, FEB UBM Initiates the Establishment of UKM

Campus.UBMG -Faculty of Economics & Business (FEB) University of Bina Mandiri (UBM) Gorontalo, held a meeting to establish Student Activity Unit (UKM), Wednesday (31/8/2022).

The activity which was held in the UBM Hall was attended by the Dean of FEB, Frista Iin Wahyuni ​​SE, M.Pd, the Deputy Dean of the study program, Head of Study Programs, and Head of UPT New Students, Erfan Lainjong M.Epid.

According to Frista, UKM is a place where students gather with similar interests, hobbies, activities, and creativity.

“The purpose of establishing this UKM is to facilitate students in self-development. Students are given a place to track their hobbies and talents in the fields of art, sports, thinking, entrepreneurship, religion and various other fields," said Frista Iin.

Not only that, in front of new students and old students, Frista Iin explained some of the benefits that students can get when participating in UKM activities. In addition to training the ability to establish social relations, through UKM students can also develop skills and abilities in certain fields according to their interests and talents.

"It can also train communication and organizational skills, train students' leadership skills and improve their ability to handle and solve problems, and much more," she added.

Therefore, Dean Frista Iin hopes that students can develop their interests and talents through UKM, and from developing these interests and talents it can be a proud achievement. (ais/rls/at)
