Member of DPR RI Participates in Blood Donation Goes to Campus at UBM

Campus.UBMG - March 6, 2023. The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Gorontalo Province held a Blood Donation Goes to Campus. Monday.

This time, University of Bina Mandiri  (UBM) Gorontalo was chosen as the place to carry out this beneficial activity.

In fact, the leadership, lecturers and students were so enthusiastic in participating in the implementation of blood donation activities. Evidently, in not so long, dozens of blood bags have been collected which are expected to be able to help patients in need.

"This enthusiasm is a form of concern for the academic community for others. Moreover, currently there are not a few people who need blood, while the availability of blood in the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) is very limited, "said the lecturers who participated in donating blood.

However, there was something interesting when the activity began. Not only the leadership, lecturers, students and teachers and students of Bina Mandiri Vocational School, but also a member of the House of Representatives, Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie also donated blood at UBM Gorontalo.

The spirit of the DPR RI member who currently sits in Commission VIII in donating blood should be appreciated. Because in the midst of her busy duties as a representative of the people, she still cares about public health and cares about patients in need. (ais)
