Sports Competition, Sack Race, and Tug of War Celebrate National Teacher's Day

Campus.UBMG - The celebration of National Teacher's Day in 2022 is truly celebrated with great fanfare by University of Bina Mandiri (UBM) Gorontalo. Through the Faculty of Education & Culture (FIPB), various activities were held to reflect on the importance of appreciating the services and struggles of teachers.

Apart from carrying out the flag ceremony, the competition committee also held badminton competitions, tug of war to sack races for the lecturers and staff.

The Dean of FIPB, Imam Mashudi S.Pd, M.Pd explained, each competition has its own uniqueness and often invites laughter from the audience. The sack race illustrates how difficult it is to run when both legs are restricted by sacks.

"While the tug of war competition is held in teams, of course this requires teamwork to achieve victory. Togetherness, and solidarity with each other are values ​​that can be taken from this competition," he explained.

Apart from that, the unity in the team working hand in hand to pull the ropes also illustrates how hard the heroes fought, including the former teachers," concluded Imam Mashudi who is also a doctoral candidate for this education. (ais/rls/at)
