iUBM Digital Library is The New App of UBM

Campus.UBMG - University of Bina Mandiri  (UBM) Gorontalo continues to maximize the digital library launch acceleration plan.

This seriousness was seen during the implementation of digital library socialization, Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

In a meeting attended by the Chairman of Bina Mandiri Gorontalo Foundation (YBMG) Dr. Ir. H. Azis Rachman MM, IPM accompanied by the Head of Library, Dr. Harson Towalu M.Pd and staff to the Gorontalo Provincial Library Office, the service provider explained the plan to launch iUBM as a digital library application owned by the campus with the jargon of the pioneer of independence.

"Digital library is a social media-based digital library service application, for storing, managing and disseminating digital books in PDF, epub and audio or video formats via smartphones and tablets with android and web operating systems that can be accessed anytime anywhere without space and time limits," said the speaker.

Meanwhile, Dr. Harson explained, along with the times and technological advances, today libraries can not only be established and made in conventional form.

"But digitally and called a digital library or digital library, we call it iUBM," he said.

The purpose of its establishment remains the same, namely to provide a collection of books, magazines, journals and various other types of reading to spread knowledge for the academic community.

In addition to the iUBM discussion meeting, the activity was also coupled with a discussion on the preparation of the UBM Gorontalo library accreditation.
