UBM Gorontalo Holds Socialization of Changes in NIK to NPWP

Campus.UBMG - University of Bina Mandiri (UBM) Gorontalo continues to show its commitment to all government policies.

One of them is the change of Population Identification Number (NIK) to Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP).

Therefore, this Independence Pioneer Campus held a socialization which was held at Bina Mandiri Gorontalo Ballroom, Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

The activity which presented a resource person from the UNG Tax Center, Muliyani Mahmud, S.Pd., M.SA was attended by employees in the UBM Gorontalo environment.

Vice Rector 1 for Academic Affairs, William Indra S. Mooduto SE, M.SA, Ak. CA in his speech said that the socialization of the change of NIK to NPWP is very important not only for institutions but also for each individual.

"We hope that this socialization can be our guideline, especially in the conversion of NPWP to NIK, important information and knowledge related to technical matters can be asked to the speakers," he said.

Not only that, William also revealed that one of the policy objectives of changing NIK to NPWP is to support Indonesia's one data policy by regulating the inclusion of a standardized and integrated single identity number in tax administration services.

"The policy objectives of changing the format of NIK to NPWP are to provide justice and legal certainty, provide equality and realize effective and efficient tax administration, support Indonesia's one data policy," he concluded.
