UBM Gorontalo Pharmacy Students Hold Field Practice in Bonedaa Village

Campus.UBMG - Thursday, March 2, 2023. In order to support the learning of Pharmacognosy, students of the Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program, University of Bina Mandiri  (UBM) Gorontalo held a Natural Material Field Practice.

The activity, which was held in Bonedaa Village, Bone Bolango Regency, was attended by second semester students and accompanied by the Head of Pharmacy Study Program and lecturer staff.

Previously, this group of students was released by the Vice Rector, William Indra S. Mooduto SE, M.SA, Ak. CA.

Head of Pharmacy Department, Rini Daud Supu, M.Farm explained, in the implementation of this PKL students took samples of medicinal plants to be taken to the laboratory.

"Alhamdulillah, students are very enthusiastic in undergoing a series of PKL. It is also a valuable addition to their knowledge," she said.

Pharmacognosy itself is one of the sciences that studies the parts of plants or animals that can be used as natural medicines that have passed various tests such as pharmacodynamic tests, toxicology tests and biofarmasetics tests.

The opportunity was also used to socialize to the community.
