Campus.UBMG - The implementation of the Ramadan Safari of University of Bina Mandiri (UBM) Gorontalo in 2023/1444 Hijri has been completed.
Al Mukhlishin Mosque, became the last mosque visited by the Ramadan safari team, Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
In this mosque located in Padengo Village, Kabila District, Bone Bolango Regency, Dr. H. Harson Towalu, S.Pd., M.Pd who is also the Head of UPT Student Affairs and Director of UBM Gorontalo Library became a lecturer, and Vice Rector 1 for academic affairs, Willam Indra S. Mooduto, SE, M.Ak., CA was asked to be the Imam of the Isha and Tarawih prayers.
The implementation of this Ramadan safari was held to bring UBM Gorontalo closer to the community, especially the mosque congregation.
Thus, the relationship between institutions and the community continues to be established. As well as being a place to provide information to the public about the presence of this pioneer campus of independence.
Not only that, this Ramadan safari activity is also used to provide assistance to the mosque takmirul for the benefit of the construction and operation of the mosque.
"This series of activities is also at the same time providing compensation in the form of cash, donations of the Holy Book of the Qur'an and mosque cleaning tools," said the Head of UPT PMB, Erfan AR. Lainjong, SKM, M.Epid accompanied by Dr. Sudarsono, SE, MM, Head of the UBMG Postgraduate Study Program.
He also hopes that this safari ramadan activity will continue to be carried out in the coming years and there will be more mosques that can be visited.
