UBM Pharmacy Students Conduct Socialization and Health Checks

Campus.UBMG - The Pharmacy Study Program Student Association (HMPS), Faculty of Science, Technology and Health Sciences (F-STIK) University of Bina Mandiri  Gorontalo, has carried out Student Management Skills Training (LKMM).

This activity, which was held in Bongopini Village of Tilongkabila Sub-district, Bone Bolango Regency, made a real contribution to improving the health status of the community.

One of the agenda that is felt directly by the community, is health education. Together with health workers and accompanying seniors, these new students appear to be patient in providing health information to the public.

"Health checks, Pharmacy S1 students accompanied by Puskesmas cadres were carried out directly at people's homes," said the Pharmacy Lecturer who assisted Student Management Skills Training (LKMM), Adera Rahmawanto Taidi S.Farm.

Not only that, this visit was also used to promote Gorontalo UBM to the public.

“The implementation of the 2nd day of Pharmacy Student Management Skills Training (LKMM) is the dissemination of the introduction of the University of Bina Mandiri Gorontalo is carried out by students to the Bongopini Village Community on a door to door basis,” he added.

This Student Management Skills Training (LKMM) activity is an agenda that is routinely carried out with the aim of how students are equipped with leadership knowledge which will later be applied in daily life.

The goal is to equip new students with basic skills in communication, recognize their potential, develop critical qualities and position themselves effectively in student organizations.

Therefore, the implementation of socialization to the community and counseling and health checks is highly appreciated. (ais/rls/at)
