In Preparation for the Opening of a New Study Program, UBM Gorontalo Sent the Vice Dean of F-STIK to Follow K3 Training

Campus.UBMG - University of Bina Mandiri (UBM) Gorontalo, sent the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science, Technology & Health Sciences (F-STIK), Arpin SKM, M.Kes to attend the General Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Expert training.

The activity, which was held at Hotel Genio Manado, will last for approximately 2 weeks.

This training is very important because based on Law No. 1 of 1970 and its implementing regulations Permen No. 4 / MEN / 87 article 2, companies including universities are required to have K3 experts so that the implementation of K3 in the workplace runs optimally.

General K3 Expert Training is a program of the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration, to prepare K3 experts in companies and various sectors including the academic sector that can help develop K3 science.

"The target of this General K3 Expert Training is to know the duties and obligations in implementing K3 requirements, systems and processes in the workplace according to applicable regulations, in this case educators are able to develop their competence in the field of K3 Science in order to create quality graduates," said Arpin M.Kes.

The participation of the Deputy Dean of F-STIK is also the seriousness of UBM Gorontalo, which is currently pioneering a new K3 study program which is included in the target in 2023.

"We pray that this study program can be realized soon and will add to the long line of rare study programs at UBM," hoped Arpin. (ais/rls)
