Village Officials Welcome the Arrival of UBM Gorontalo PKMD Students

Campus.UBMG - The implementation of the Village Community Health Practice (PKMD), Students of the Health Analyst Study Program, Faculty of Science, Technology & Health Sciences (F-STIK) of University of Bina Mandiri (UBM) Gorontalo in 2023 officially rolled.

These students have arrived at the PKMD location in Randangan District, Pohuwato Regency.

Precisely in Pesa Pelambane Village, Ayula Village, Siduwonge Village, Patuhu Village and Manunggal Karya Village.

The arrival of the students along with the field supervisor lecturers was welcomed by local village officials, Thursday, February 2, 2023.

Head of UPT Cooperation and MBKM, Andriyanto Dai M.Kep explained, the implementation of PKMD is a forum to improve knowledge and skills and insight in order to have mastery of knowledge (cognitive), attitudes (affective) and skills (psychomotor) that can be applied comprehensively in society.

"PKMD activities aim to provide opportunities for students to better understand, apply and practice and try in real terms the knowledge and skills obtained during education, accompanied by a professional attitude in the health sector," he said.

In addition, PKMD is also organized so that students can play a role in solving health problems in the community through the development of village public health.

"Collaborate with the local village government and the health center so that the various programs carried out are right on target to improve the degree of public health," he concluded. *
