Campus.UBMG -As a campus that is aware of technology, University of Bina Mandiri (UBM) Gorontalo continues to innovate to keep up with the times.
In fact, it is increasingly common for the academic community at UBM Gorontalo to use technology to support academic activities.
This innovation must go hand in hand with cybersecurity or personal data security, especially documents that have legality issued by university leaders such as decrees, circulars, notification letters, and several other important letters.
To prevent the potential for forgery of electronic signatures belonging to elements of university leadership to lecturers in the UBMG environment, as well as strengthening governance, archiving, and tracking of electronic mail circulars in the campus environment, UBM Gorontalo through the Head of CCLC, Ayu Anastasya Rachman S.IP, MA initiated a meeting in order to discuss cooperation with DIGISIGN as a Technical Implementation Unit of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) Electronic Certification Center (BSrE) to prepare a dashboard for electronic mail management, specimens and QR Code signatures for campus leaders in accordance with cybersecurity regulations by Kominfo and the Indonesian ITE Law.
"This meeting received appreciation and support from the Chairman of the Foundation and the Rector, then the signing of the PKS will be carried out to start cooperation between UBMG and DIGISIGN," said Ayu, who is also a doctoral candidate in international relations.
The use of digital signatures or electronic signatures will provide added value and improve the reputation of universities. The reason is that the college can already be said to be innovative because it cares about the environment.
"This will also improve the quality of correspondence services because electronic signatures can be affixed securely and monitored even though the leader is out of town or off campus," she concluded.
