MoU Signing at UBM, APTISI Gorontalo Encourages PTS to Develop Campus Digitalization

Campus.UBMG - As a form of implementation of the vision of the Association of Private Universities (APTISI) of Gorontalo Province according to the results of the formulation at the 1st Work Meeting in 2022, which realizing excellence and best private universities in Indonesia.

In the form of a mission to develop campus digitalization in higher education services, APTISI Gorontalo Province held a meeting as well as the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the UBM Gorontalo Campus. Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

The meeting, which was attended by leaders of private universities in Gorontalo Province, was initiated by the Chairman of the Gorontalo Bina Mandiri Foundation (YBMG), Dr. Ir. H. Azis Rachman MM, IPM who is also the Head of APTISI Gorontalo.

Dr Azis explained, in the current era of globalization, Private Universities must be able to provide educational services that are fast and responsive to various campus information service needs, and one of the supporting infrastructures is the development of campus digitalization which is a necessity to be carried out as soon as possible and must be carried out by every Private Universities to be able to provide academic and non-academic services.

"So the students can follow various activities anytime and anywhere to interact with campus activities," he said.

Not only that, but the meeting also discussed the collaboration of APTISI Gorontalo with 2 vendor companies in the field of information technology that will develop various learning facilities. Such as Smart Classroom, Academic Information System (SIA) based on Learning Management System (LMS), and smartphone-based services.

"Such as online-based payments and transactions, and other technology facilities. Currently, Private Universities that have explored the agreement and followed up on the collaboration are UBM and UMGo," he concluded.
