Iftar with Orphanage Children, F-STIK UBM Gorontalo Shares Happiness and was Attended by Deputy Mayor

Campus.UBMG - Faculty of Science, Technology & Health Sciences (F-STIK) Bina Mandiri University (UBM) Gorontalo held an iftar with children and managers of Safaz Ain Orphanage, North City, Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

The Iftar was attended by the Chairman of Bina Mandiri Gorontalo Foundation (YBMG) Dr. Ir. H. Azis Rachman MM, IPM accompanied by the Rector of UBM Gorontalo, Dr. Hj. Titin Dunggio M.Si, M.Kes as well as elements of leadership, lecturers and staff.

Vice Dean of F-STIK, Arpin SKM, M.Kes explained, the implementation of breaking the fast together was carried out to establish friendship and share with fellow Muslims, especially with orphanage children in order to achieve blessings in the holy month of Ramadan.

"We are very enthusiastic and very grateful to be able to work together to organize a positive activity in this holy month of Ramadan. This activity is a form of manifestation of the values contained in the essence of fasting, as well as an annual routine agenda carried out by F-STIK," he explained.

Interestingly, the implementation of this breakfasting activity coincided with the visit of the Deputy Mayor of Gorontalo, Ryan F. Kono at the orphanage.

So, spontaneously the entire academic community of UBM Gorontalo invited the Deputy Mayor and his staff to break the fast together.
