Celebrating Merdeka Belajar Month, Thousands of Teachers and Education Practitioners Attend UBM Gorontalo

Campus.UBMG - Celebrating the month of free learning on National Education Day (Hardiknas) 2023.

Thousands of teachers, practitioners and education stakeholders took part in a healthy walk for free learning at Bina Mandiri University (UBM) Gorontalo, Sunday, May 14, 2023.

This healthy walk was attended by the Head of Higher Education Service Institution (LL DIKTI) XVI, Gosuluteng, Munawir Sadjali Razak S. IP, MA and leaders of universities in Gorontalo Province.

The healthy walk was followed by compact and cheerful walking together with a distance of 4 km.

"Healthy walking activities can strengthen the ecosystem of education and culture and generate collaboration in realizing sustainable learning independence," said the Chairman of the Gorontalo Bina Mandiri Foundation (YBMG), Dr. Ir. H. Azis Rachman MM, IPM who is also the Chairman of APTISI Gorontalo Province.

Meanwhile, the Head of LLDIKTI XVI, Munawir Sadjali Razak in his remarks revealed, the healthy walk for the festive learning independence of Hardiknas was also carried out simultaneously nationally, as a place to strengthen synergy so that educators could improve the quality of education.

"We want the development of independent learning to be loved so that the concept is really well implemented. This must be supported by all elements of society, education observers and also the legislature. So the concept of independent learning is so that every student has the power of creation and innovation in his life in any condition to be able to develop himself," he said.

This healthy walk activity is even more lively with door prizes being drawn.

The series of activities were carried out thanks to the collaboration of LLDIKTI XVI with BPMP Gorontalo Province, Mover Teacher Center, UT, UNG, Gorontalo Province Language Office and UBM Gorontalo.
